Holly Hyder is passionate about doing good. She saw an opportunity to develop a line of clothing that active people could turn to, to minimise their impact on society and the environment. She has degrees in chemistry, commerce and a Masters in energy systems which has helped her interrogate the true cost of fashion. She has also played hockey and cricket at a state level, wearing out her fair share of active wear.
Victoria Nguyen is a fashion designer. After graduating from RMIT in 2009, she jumped straight into the industry working for local Melbourne designers as an assistant designer, production co-ordinator, patternmaker and sample machinist. It was her current role which introduced her to offshore production and fashion on a global scale. After her good friend Holly approached her to collaborate, the BAM.U project was born.
